Favorite scene from Doctor Who.

For [info]picspammy scenes and sequences. I think I am going to do a lot of these, so sorry in advance.





I think this is probably my favorite scene in all of DW. It's just so fucking perfect. First Billie conveyed so much emotion in the narration. When she started talking about the Doctor I could tell how happy Rose was. I could tell how she was missing something before the Doctor. Second the montage, let me tell you how much I love it. We got to see bored Rose, then NINE (OMG I was so happy to see Nine if only for seconds) and how happy they were. Of course we get the forever scene so they can take all away from us in the end. Third the music, it is subtle and beautiful and ack. Also it is so PRETTY. EARTH, BEACHES, RUNNING, DINOSAUR(or whatever the fuck they were) PLANETS. I have never been so excited, happy and sad in less than 2 minutes. They managed to create in that minute who Rose was and is.





Rose:
Planet Earth.
This is where I was born.
And this is where I died.
For the first nineteen years of my life, nothing happened. Nothing at all.
Not ever.
And then I met a man called the Doctor.

*flashback*
THE DOCTOR: Run.
*end flashback*

A man who could change his face. And he took me away from home in his magical machine.
He showed me the whole of time and space. I thought it would never end.

*flashback*
THE DOCTOR: How long are you gonna stay with me?
ROSE: Forever.
*end flashback*

That's what I thought. But then came the army of ghosts. Then came Torchwood and the War. And that's when it all ended.
This is the story of how I died.

I love how this scene sums up everything the Doctor did for and meant to Rose. They just made each other better.
